Shelby Lee Adams - final reworked image of me
Faeries for the "Enchanted Berkshires" summer season at Herman Melville's Arrowhead.
An amazing rainy day was spent with Shelby Lee Adams at Herman Melville's Arrowhead Museum in Pittsfield, MA. We shot hundreds of photos for the "faery queen" image they wanted for the poster for their summer season events. I designed the costume, headdress and make-up for the "faery queen" character. The photo that was finally chosen was photographed through a dusty, rain spattered window, that looked in off the north porch of Arrowhead, which was where Melville was rumored to have seen fairies dancing. Shelby used these rain speckles, to create sparkles and lights around me in Photoshop.I designed the final poster around Shelby's stunning photograph.
